CABERNET SAUVIGNON 👌🏻 We are reknowned for our Cab Sav here at Balgownie Estate and our 2017 is flying off the shelf.

It is an impressive, rich, and complex wine with depth, excellent balance and length of palate that is a memorable match with roast lamb or a wine to cellar and savour with fifteen years bottle age.

OLD VINE CAB SAV 🍷 For our wine lovers, this is Cabernet Sauvignon is hand-harvested from the best 18 rows of our original 1969 Cabernet Sauvignon plantings.

Only 2 barrels were produced giving just 50 cases of elegant and sophisticated Cabernet Sauvignon. It is available now in our online store or at the Balgownie Estate Cellar door.

A BALGOWNIE RED 🍷 Winemaker Stuart Anderson established Balgownie Estate’s Bendigo vineyards in 1969 with initial plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. From here Balgownie become an influential red wine producer in regional Victoria, producing rich savoury flavours with moderate alcohol and intelligent use of oak.

MACEDON SPARKLING PINOR NOIR 🍷 This bottle is flying out the door at our Bendigo and Yarra Valley cellar doors! 😳

Hand harvested from the Cleveland vineyard March 2018. A blend of Pinot Noir clones 115, 777 and MV6. Disgorged October 2021 after 3 years on lees.

Made in the style of a classic sparkling red this wine displays hallmark aromas of wild strawberries and red cherries with notes of spice and subtle earthiness.

The medium bodied palate is carried along by a combination of fine tannin and soft acidity. The fine bead further expresses the elegant light to medium bodied palate.

Matching this with your home baked turkey or roast pork with crackling will win you a host of fans. Available at our cellar doors or online. 🍷 Have your tried it yet?
