Ever wonder what it takes to get a tower crane up and running on a 26 level project?

We’re excited to be part of LUMARA Broadbeach as this project gets underway.

Getting a tower crane safely up and running takes plenty of planning, coordination and teamwork. Our team worked alongside the crew from Falcon Mobile Cranes to safely install our Potain MCR305A, which is now up and running on site.

With 26 levels and 37 residences ahead, there’s plenty more to come. We can’t wait to see this one rise.

A little look at what’s happening on site at Esprit de Vie II in Mermaid Waters, where our MCT385A is hard at work.

Behind the build is our Potain MCT385A 20T Flat Top Crane, hard at work supporting the construction of this 12 storey development.

The MCT385A is powered by the Potain PA375 Pro battery system, supplied by Total Equipment Sales.

With 58 one, two, three and four bedroom residences planned, it’s great to see our crane playing a part in bringing this project to life.

There’s plenty happening at DUET Portside in Hamilton, and behind the build is our Potain MCT385A 20T Flat Top Crane hard at work.

Powered by the Potain PA375 Pro battery energy storage system, supplied by Total Equipment Sales, the MCT385A is helping with the heavy lifting as this 24 storey development takes shape.

DUET will bring one, two and three bedroom residences to Brisbane’s Portside precinct, with sweeping views across the Brisbane River and city skyline.

It’s always great to see a project grow from the ground up, and we’re looking forward to watching this one rise.

Two new cranes, two major projects, and plenty happening on site.

This July, Falcon Cranes supplied two Potain MCT385 20T Flat Top Cranes, powered by Potain PA375 Pro Batteries, to Duet Apartments in Hamilton and Arena EDV II in Mermaid Waters.

With both projects moving ahead, it’s great to see the new cranes already on site and ready for the work ahead.

And we’re not stopping there. More Potain equipment, including the newly released Potain Hoists, will be arriving at both sites in the coming months.

Another two projects underway, another couple of cranes keeping things moving.

If you've been near Rainbow Bay lately, you've probably noticed our tower crane lighting up the skyline at the Holm Residences project.

We're proud to be working alongside the fantastic teams at Groupline Constructions and Chapter Two, and the site is looking brilliant thanks to a new addition.

We've just switched on the new SkySigns, which are bespoke illuminated screens on the crane, designed and built by Total Equipment Sales, custom-built to order. These aren't standard backlit signs. They're digital displays capable of running video content, rotating logos, and projecting media. They look absolutely fantastic!

We’re on site at Tapestry Residences in Surfers Paradise, which once completed will be an exclusive 22-level residential development built by SIERA.

We needed to design the custom hoist bridge specifically to suit the building’s curved balcony layout. As you can see, it uses a triangular configuration to align with the shape of the structure, along with an edge protection screen with mesh above the middle bar to improve site safety.

This setup allows materials to be moved more easily and safely by workers while the hoist system integrates with the building’s design.

Some great shots taken by the Falcon Cranes crew during the dismantling of our BQ GHD4510 crane at Coolum Beach for Foundation Homes.

Dismantling a crane takes careful planning, experience, and teamwork to ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Bringing down a rig of this scale is a highly coordinated effort. Our team worked together to lower and dismantle the heavy components piece by piece, leaving the site safe and ready for the next stage of construction.

A huge thanks to the crew for another successful dismantle and for capturing these behind-the-scenes moments. A fantastic effort by everyone involved.
