"Yeppoon Yappers" offers Puppy Classes and basic behavior training, plus doggy social days, beach walks, and obedience skills. Our aim is to socialise and teach our dogs to become well adjusted & well behaved members of our family and community, and also lay the groundwork and confidence for anyone who might be interested in going on into formal competition training. Our instructor has over 30 yea

rs experience as a trainer & obedience instructor, and competes in dogs sports such as obedience, agility, rally & tracking. Yeppoon Yappers will dabble in all these areas with a focus on using positive methods to learn about, teach and enjoy our dogs.

Happy New Year, Yappers - unfortunately 2026 is not getting off to the great start we had planned! Just advising everyone that we have lost access to our lovely grounds at Yeppoon PCYC for an indeterminate time, and so we are on the hunt for a "new home" for this year.
In the meantime, we are still offering private lessons, and are always happy to help answer queries with advice to keep those dogs well-behaved and a joy to live with!
We do apologise to those who have already booked in for our first session - rest assured you are not forgotten and will be welcomed to our first class as soon as we can organise grounds!
Of course - any suggestions or recommendations for training areas would be awesome! We need flat ground, lights and a parking area. Live, love & play with your dogs & we will get together soon!

And that's a wrap, Yappers! Our awesome 'Come &Go With Me!' workshop featuring Buddy (I can pay attention without a treat!) Betty (Short &Sharp so I can pay attention!) Halley (I used to run off but now I'm a fur missile!) And Blaze (I'm brilliant, just you watch me!) It has been an absolute pleasure working with these guys & seeing what your amazing handlers have achieved in 3 weeks! All the tools are in your toolbox - go & be awesome!
