After a winner on Wednesday and again on Thursday, D'Argento was represented by a handy trial winner on Friday as Bjorn Baker Racing's 2yo filly D'Unicorn worked to the lead under Kerrin McEvoy before holding off Tigeroni in the run to the line - a great first appearance for the Darby Racing Syndications purchase.

It's worth noting that the runner up had placed in her first three city starts including on debut behind Fireball, with that winner ending his 2yo campaign as a winner of the G1 Champagne Stakes.

The second winner for D’Argento in as many days after the Archie Alexander Racing trained Don’t Miss Many recorded his fifth victory with a fighting effort at Sandown on Wednesday, the progeny of the G1 Rosehill Guineas winner have been in solid form with ten winners and a further 18 placed runners since the start of May.

Recording their second juvenile winner in as many days, the Peter Snowden stable headed to Hawkesbury on Thursday where the unraced 2yo D’Argento filly Scuro Star made her debut over 1100m, defeating the older horses in the Family Funday 19 July F&M Maiden Plate.
