According to the Aruba Tourism Authority, Aruba received 126,391 stopover arrivals in June 2025, 3.1% more than the 122,573 stopover visitors it received in June 2024.
Compared with June 2024, stopover arrivals from the USA declined by 0.1%, falling from 95,135 arrivals in June 2024 to 95,034 arrivals in June 2025. Arrivals from the USA comprised 75.0% of all arrivals in June 2025 down from 77.7% in June 2024.
Arrivals from Canada increased by 41.3%, growing from 2,862 visitors in June 2024 to 4,045 stopovers in June 2025. Arrivals from Colombia decreased by 13.7%, falling from 8,362 stopovers in June 2024 to 7,216 in June of this year. Arrivals from Argentina increased by 112.3% growing from 2,350 visitors in June 2024 to 4,989 stopovers in June 2025 while the number of stopover visitors from the Netherlands increased by 7.3%, growing from 2,278 visitors in June 2024 to 2,444 stopovers in June 2025.
The number of visitors staying in hotels in June increased by 2.9%, growing from 51,034 stopovers in June 2024 to 52,493 in June of this year. Their share of all stopover visitors fell from 41.7% in June 2024 to 41.5% in June 2025. The number of visitors using โotherโ accommodation (primarily short term rental of homes or apartments) increased by 11.3%, growing from 38,267 in June 2024 to 42,603 in June 2025 with the share growing from 31.2% in 2024 to 33.7% this year.
Aruba also received 11 cruise ship calls in June 2025 and a total of 43,367 cruise passengers, with the volume of cruise visitors up 0.8% from the 43,031 received in June 2024. The average number of passengers per call increased from 3,912 visitors in June 2024 to 3,942 cruise visitors in June 2025.
In the first six months of 2025 Aruba saw a 3.3% increase in the number of stopover visitors, growing from 737,691 visitors in the first six months of 2024 to 762,356 visitors in the first six months of this year. The number of stopovers from the USA increased by 0.7% during the first six months, growing from 563,019 in the first six months of 2024 to 566,864 in the same six months of 2025. The share of stopovers from the USA fell from 76.3% in the first six months of 2024 to 74.4% in the same six months of 2025.
The number of visitors staying in hotels increased by 0.4% growing from 312,957 in the first six months of 2024 to 314,239 in the same six months of 2025 with the share of such visitors falling from 42.4% in 2024 to 41.2% in the same six months of 2025. This was because the number of visitors staying in โOther Accommodation,โ primarily short term rental accommodation in private homes or apartments, grew by 11.2%, from 243,401 visitors in the first six months of 2024 to 270,541 in the same six months of 2025.with their share of all visitors growing from 33.0% in 2024 to 35.5% in the same six months of 2025.
Aruba received 197 cruise ship calls in the first six months of 2025 with 514,580 cruise passengers compared with the 193 calls cruise ships made in the same six months of 2024 with 543,215 passengers. The average number of passengers per call fell by 7.2%, falling from 2,815 visitors in the first six months of 2024 to 2,612 visitors in the same six months of 2025.
