BDO has released International Sustainability Reporting Bulletin (ISRB) 2026/04 Sustainability reporting after Omnibus I - Key takeaways, which provides an overview of sustainability reporting developments with a focus on the effects of the first Omnibus package which was approved by the European Parliament in December 2025, with the aim of simplifying and streamlining reporting requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the EU Taxonomy regulation, and Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) while maintaining transparency and compliance that is consistent with the European Green Deal.

📢 Corporate Income Tax Return – 2025 Filing Deadline

It’s important to ensure that both the filing (whether provisional or final) and payment of 2025 corporate income tax return are completed by June 1, 2026. If your financial statements for 2025 are not finalized by this date, please remember that a provisional return must still be submitted. In this case, the minimum payment should be based on the taxable income from your most recent filed corporate income tax return, which is typically 2024.

✅An important advantage: by filing and paying the provisional return on time, you’ll automatically receive an extension to file your final 2025 corporate income tax return as late as November 30, 2026.
