Following the first validation workshop in Sarajevo, the process continued in Foฤa and Banja Luka, bringing together protected area managers, local stakeholders and community representatives to co-develop joint promotional packages and destination narratives across selected clusters.

The workshops were implemented by SO.. Quantum Growth Agency, facilitating a process that connects strategic thinking, local insight and practical development opportunities.

From visitor routes and storytelling frameworks to communication directions and promotional tools, the process focused on shaping approaches that strengthen visibility, accessibility and long-term sustainability.

Its real value lies in collaboration, aligning different perspectives into outcomes that are both strategic and grounded in the realities of each location.

These activities are part of the โ€œSustainability of Protected Areas in Bosnia and Herzegovina (SPA)โ€ project, implemented by UNDP Bosnia and Herzegovina with support from Global Environment Facility.

Yesterday, the Embassy of Sweden in Bosnia and Herzegovina held a working session focused on how public institutions communicate in an increasingly fragmented digital space.๐Ÿ’ป๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ช

Rather than treating communication as an output, the discussion centered on how it shapes trust, influences perception, and determines whether institutions are understood at all. The session explored practical questions, how to navigate complex online ecosystems, how to remain credible under pressure, and how to communicate with clarity when attention is limited.

Ambassador H.E. Helena Lagerlรถf welcomed the initiative, underlining the importance of continuous learning and the role of modern communication tools in strengthening dialogue with development partners and the public.

Today, as part of the Sustainable Protected Areas project in Bosnia and Herzegovina, implemented by United Nations Development Programme, a validation workshop was held for Cluster 3; Urban Wilderness and Accessible Nature.

The workshop brought together protected area managers, local stakeholders and community representatives to review and further develop joint promotional packages for selected protected areas across the country โ€“ including tourism narratives, itineraries, visual identity and promotional tools aimed at strengthening their visibility and attractiveness.

Last week, Sarajevo hosted the Eastern European Machine Learning Summer School (EEML 2025), a gathering of some of the brightest minds in the field: PhD researchers, engineers, and students working on the frontiers of machine learning.
The program was led by researchers from Google DeepMind, with guest lecturers from Apple, Oxford, Cambridge, Mila โ€“ Quebec AI Institute, Isomorphic Labs and others, made possible thanks to the support of .ba , the University of Sarajevo, and local contributors to the academic program.
It wasnโ€™t loud, but it was intense. Focused. Demanding. And full of people who genuinely care about how knowledge moves through the world.
