The Barbados Revenue Authority has deferred the cut-off date for filing in response to entities in both the public and private sector, indicating issues they have been experiencing with uploading requisite information in TAMIS.

Taxpayers now have until May 31 to file personal income tax for 2018 and to make their requisite tax payments.

The BRA is now granting both a FILING & PAYMENT extension to corporate and business taxpayers for their June 15th & 21st deadlines for both corporate and value added taxes respectively. The deadline for filing those returns and related payments has been extended to June 30, 2018.

Remember, business taxpayers are first required to register in TAMIS, the BRA’s new online, integrated tax system, in order to receive their new Tax Identification Numbers (TIN).
