Off-grid is also known as standalone. Many of the systems we supply use batteries but are also utility-interactive; they are not reliant and feed-in power like grid-tied systems but use the mains for support in cloudy conditions or after excessive use, to maintain the integrity of the batteries.

Investing in a battery-based, utility-interactive renewable energy systems can provide valuable security for critical loads (in the event of a utility failure) but also translate to electricity cost savings in line with retail rates, everyday. If only there was policy to allow simple net metering, so householders and small enterprise could easily participate in the economic benefits the industry has to offer; for the majority of citizens to be empowered financially, then we might have a better chance of reaching the 100 % RE by 2030 target.
