Yesterday September 10, 2026, CARICAD launched its 2026 intake of its Mid-Level Leadership Development Programme. The 30 participants were nominated by the public sectors of Saint Lucia, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica and Belize. This programme is delivered virtually across 3 months. The ultimate aim is to develop leadership capacity to support real-world public sector innovation to be executed by participants through their Improvement Projects Implementation and other assignments. Between September to December 2026, CARICAD will be delivering a total of 3 Leadership Development Programmes, including customised programmes for the Governments of the British Virgin Islands and Anguilla (78 participants across all 3 programmes)

On September 2, 2026, CARICAD commenced delivery of its 4th Cohort of its customised Emerging Leaders' Development Programme for the public service of the British Virgin Islands. The programme is being delivered virtually across 3 months to 25vemerging leaders from the BVI Social Security Board and Health Services Authority. Participants with the support of their Executive Coaches will implement personal development plan as well as execute an Improvement Project in their respective teams. This is part of the wider public sector reform and learning strategy

The 42nd meeting of the Board of Directors of the Caribbean Centre for Development Administration (CARICAD) was held in Anguilla on July 10th, 2026.
