On May 8th, 2026, Mission Barbados was pleased to warmly welcome Rhasheda Skeete as one of our newest Mission Barbados Ambassadors, where she has been assigned to champion Mission 5: Worker Empowerment and Enfranchisement.

Rhasheda officially joined us on our We Pun A Mission in Government Bajan Bus Tour and had the opportunity to engage with the team at the Sanitation Service Authority, sharing how her mission connects directly to the important work being carried out by the SSA every day.

Through Worker Empowerment and Enfranchisement, Mission Barbados seeks to create opportunities for growth, encourage innovation, and ensure that Barbadians are equipped, supported and empowered to thrive.

Her message highlighted the importance of recognising and valuing the people whose hard work contributes to national development.

We are excited to have her on board and look forward to the impact she will make as we continue this journey of transformation together.

We pulled up on The Bajan Bus and we meant business.

Friday May 8th I joined fellow Mission Barbados Ambassadors for the Bajan Bus Tour, hitting the Barbados Water Authority, the Sanitation Service Authority and the Ministry of the Public Service.

Three stops. Three crowds. One mission.

BWA brought the energy, SSA is where I gave my very first ambassador presentation and MPS finished us off with the biggest crowd of the day.
