BUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEURS ENABLERS EXPO

Global Event Planners (GEP), in partnership with the Caribbean Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Livelihoods (CoESL) and the Barbados Entrepreneurship Foundation Business Mentorship Pillar (BEF), is planning the Inaugural Exhibition “Get to know what the Finance and Developmental Agencies have to offer”.

This exhibit is focused on educating Entrepreneurs, Small & Micro business owners about the different products and services available to them in Barbados. The Expo is scheduled for Wednesday May 20th, from 9:30 a.m., at the Grand Salle, Tom Adams Financial Centre, St. Michael.

The partners are inviting all financial institutions, NGOs and Government Agencies responsible for the development of businesses and entrepreneurs in Barbados to take part in this very needed and important expo. This event is needs driven and results from a survey carried out in the first half of 2015 (January-February) by GEP and partner CoESL, which indicated that over 80% of the 300 persons surveyed were still not fully aware of what products and services exist to help them in their businesses and/or as entrepreneurs/business persons.

Featured speaker for the event will be the Hon. Donville Inniss, M.P.

Get to know what the Finance and Developmental Agencies have to offer will be an island wide series of events to build awareness, sensitize and educate entrepreneurs, small and micro business owners. Research shows that individuals prefer to view products/services in person and to make their purchasing decisions based on information obtained in real time.

The aims and objective of the expo are to bring together, in one place, as many financial institutions, NGOs, Government Agencies, entrepreneurs, small and micro businesses to share knowledge in the same location. This will strengthen partnerships, cohesiveness and inclusion, it will also serve as one way of generating customers and forming relationships between parties.
