Barbados Port Inc. recently hosted Mrs. Natalie O. Sandiford-Francis, General Counsel, British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA). Following a tour of the Port, BPI executives along with representatives of the Shipping Association of Barbados and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and the Blue Economy, engaged in discussions with the General Counsel, sharing information on our compliance function, operations and safety procedures. The visit should assist in informing BVIPA's own policies.
