The Bajan Fire Fighters’ Network successfully hosted a Radio Communications Training Workshop (basic-level) yesterday, aimed at strengthening the operational readiness of our volunteers. The session, supported by members of the Barbados Citizens Band Radio Association, provided practical guidance on the correct use of radio equipment, including proper terminology and communication protocols.
Participants were actively engaged in hands-on exercises designed to improve clarity, efficiency, and coordination when using radios as a vital communication tool. The workshop reinforced the importance of effective radio communication as a reliable and resourceful medium during disasters and emergencies.
