Car Shop Brightens Up The Day
Things were very bright and very beautiful as Car Shop Norwich was able to handover a couple of lovely cheques for very worthy causes.
Back in May, canary coloured t-shirts were not just a temporary fashion parade, but in aid of charity where the used car retailer managed to raise £500 in aid of the East Anglia Air Ambulance. CarShop held a Play Your Cards Right style quiz night with support coming from McDonald’s, Euro Car Parts, Mercure Hotels, Black Horse, and also Norwich City Football Club.
The East Anglia Air Ambulance is a charity funded helicopter emergency medical service for the people of East Anglia involving specialist doctors and critical-care paramedics aiming to provide the best possible outcomes for people involved in unfortunate incidents or medical emergencies.
Jon Maltby, CarShop Norwich Operations Manager, commented on the money raised. “Raising £500 towards the charity is a fantastic achievement. It’s a small stone in a big pond in regards to keeping the Air Ambulance up and running, but every penny helps and we hope this will go towards keeping the helicopters in the air for years to come, saving more lives in and around region.”
As well as supporting the local Air Ambulance Charity, CarShop are also the proud sponsors for Norwich City Football Club’s Academy Jackpot, which is scheme that goes towards the nurturing of young talent within the club’s rankings.
