Career Guidance Session | Turning Learning into Opportunity 🎓
As part of the Hands-on Workshop on Upcycling and Circular Economy, TriRE : ত্রিরি organized a dedicated Career Guidance Session facilitated by Gazi Wafa Akbar, Lecturer, Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, USTC & Assistant Adviser of SWA.
The session focused on helping students look beyond their university studies and think more intentionally about their career, skills, research, higher education, and professional development.
💡 Career is more than a destination
Participants were encouraged to think about where they want to go, what skills they need to develop, and how they can prepare themselves for future opportunities.
🔬 Research & Higher Education
The session highlighted the importance of continuous learning, exploring research opportunities, and making informed decisions about higher education and professional pathways.
🚀 Building Yourself for the Future
Students were encouraged to identify their strengths, develop relevant skills, remain curious, and actively seek opportunities that can contribute to their personal and professional growth.
The interactive session added an important dimension to the workshop by connecting sustainability, learning, skills, and future career opportunities.
The session was part of TriRE’s Hands-on Workshop on Upcycling and Circular Economy, held at University of Science and Technology Chittagong- USTC on 18 August 2026, bringing together students from different departments for learning, practical activities, and youth-led sustainability action.
The workshop was funded by EU International Partnerships, Global Youth Mobilization and partner organizations under the Youth Empowerment Fund, and supported by Youth Position Bangladesh.
