Bangladesh is moving toward a sensible, pragmatic, and balanced regulatory approach for Electronic Ni****ne Delivery Systems (ENDS) — aligned with global reality, where nearly 78% of countries allow ENDS either through regulation. This approach prioritizes public health without giving undue advantage to combustible to***co, while recognizing the role of safer alternatives.
All members and traders across Bangladesh now share a collective responsibility to ensure this progress translates into real, measurable impact:
1. Ensure that only existing adult smokers benefit
2. Strengthen youth access prevention
3. Protect adolescents from initiation
4. Implement strict safeguards and quality standards
5. Ensure government revenue and compliance
6. Work together toward a truly smoke-free future
