A JapanโBangladesh joint-venture RMG company is looking for a competent, trustworthy, and detail-oriented professional for the following position:
Position: Accountant - CACC
Industry: Garments / RMG
Experience: 3โ5 years
Salary: BDT. 50,000.00 - 70,000.00
Job Location: Joydebpur, Gazipur.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate accounting records using the companyโs accounting software or ERP system.
* Record daily purchases, sales, expenses, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
* Maintain ledgers, vouchers, invoices, bills, and all supporting documents.
Prepare bank, supplier, customer, and other account reconciliations.
* Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts closing.
Handle TDS/VDS calculations, certificates, records, and related documentation.
* Coordinate with auditors and support tax, VAT, audit, and management requirements.
* Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounting records.
* Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and business information.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
* 3โ5 years of practical accounting experience in the garments/RMG industry.
* Practical knowledge of garment-industry accounting procedures.
* Hands-on experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
* Sound knowledge of TDS, VDS, tax, and VAT-related procedures and documentation.
* Good command of MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
* Ability to work independently, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines.
* Candidates with previous experience in garment factories, buying houses, or RMG-related companies will receive preference.
