The Data Centre Technician will be the technical liaison between the technology teams and the Data Centre Environment. You are able to troubleshoot and solve all but the most complex infrastructure issues. As a skilled troubleshooter on a wide range of Data Centre environments and systems, you understand which issues should be escalated to the appropriate resolver groups. You create and maintain documentation on technologies you support. You understand all aspects of the equipment you support. You know how to innovate and make decisions on his/her own, but also know how to take direction when it is given, paying attention to all details involved. You are expected to improve current processes and introduce automation with an aim towards simplification.

The Senior Data Centre Technician will be the technical liaison between the technology teams and the Data Centre Environment. You are able to troubleshoot and solve all but the most complex infrastructure issues. As a skilled troubleshooter on a wide range of Data Centre environments and systems, you understand which issues should be escalated to the appropriate resolver groups. You create and maintain documentation on technologies you support. You understand all aspects of the equipment you support. You know how to innovate and make decisions on his/her own, but also know how to take direction when it is given, paying attention to all details involved.

๐ˆ๐๐ž๐š๐ฅ ๐œ๐š๐ง๐๐ข๐๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ ๐ง๐ž๐ž๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐›๐ž ๐Ÿ๐š๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐š๐ซ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐ :
* Strong background in Linux
* Previous experience working in a Data Centre environment (racking & stacking gear, cable management, hot & cold aisle containment).
* Responsible for a shift in a 24/7/365 working environment, including on-call rostered basis shift
* Solid knowledge of Data Centre Ecosystem (cooling, electrical, networking, and structured cabling)
* Performance Management/Troubleshooting
* Base Operating System Installation

๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ:
* Ability to understand internal customer problems and provide technical solutions in a timely manner
* Ability to understand customer urgency and the sensitivity of a problem.
* Ability to work well within a demanding customer environment and delight customers
* Strong Adherence to Process and be a process champion
* Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all production server hardware and software
* Provides escalated 2nd-level technical support for complex technical issues, which may include leading problem management cases and providing management status updates
* Manages escalated support cases and leads appropriate internal technical resources and/or 3rd party vendors to resolution
* Assist with server operating system and application upgrades, bug fixes, and patching
* Working on standardization projects for both hardware and software under the company technology stack, while providing consistent system uptime as expected in an IaaS environment

* BSc in CSE, IT or related field from any reputed University
* Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience as a Data Center Technician or in a similar industry
