ক্ষুদ্রাকার পানি সম্পদ উন্নয়নের মাধ্যমে গ্রামীণ জনগোষ্ঠীর ক্ষমতায়ন

ক্ষুদ্র পরিসরের পানি সম্পদ উন্নয়ন প্রকল্প-২য় পর্যায় দেশের কৃষি ও মৎস্য উৎপাদন বৃদ্ধিতে উল্লেখযোগ্য ভূমিকা রাখছে। এই প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে ক্ষুদ্রাকার পানি অবকাঠামো গড়ে তুলে সমন্বিত কৃষি ও মৎস্য উৎপাদন বাড়ানো হচ্ছে। প্রকল্পের মূল ভিত্তি হলো পানি ব্যবস্থাপনা সমবায় সমিতি-এর গঠন ও শক্তিশালীকরণ, যা প্রকল্পের টেকসই পরিচালনা ও রক্ষণাবেক্ষণে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখবে।

Empowering Rural Communities through Small-Scale Water Resource Development

The Small Scale Water Resources Development Project Phase-2 (SSWRDP-2) is making a significant impact by increasing integrated agricultural and fish production through the development of small-scale water infrastructure. At the heart of the project is the establishment and strengthening of Water Management Cooperative Associations (WMCA).

Implemented across the Dhaka, Mymensingh, Sylhet, and Rangpur divisions, SSWRDP-2 is playing a vital role in reducing poverty, enhancing food security, and promoting socio-economic development in rural Bangladesh.
