A duplex house is a type of house that has two residential units stacked or joined with one another. It can be in a vertical format or a side-by-side style. Generally, a Duplex house consists of residential units spread over two floors with a kitchen and a common area.

What are the advantages of a duplex house?
Duplex houses offer a series of advantages in terms of privacy, affordability, and accommodative quotient. Here are a few advantages of a duplex house.

1. Privacy- A duplex house is ideal for joint families where everyone wants to lie under one roof but wants to have his/her own privacy. The space can be utilised to ensure optimum space for every inhabitant.

2. Affordability- It is a fact that duplex seems to be a costly proposition; it is not that expensive. In comparison to the flats of similar price range and area, they are only a bit on the higher side. If you can manage the finances a little, a duplex can be afforded easily
