Instead of charging 27.5% or 30% if certain are fulfilled, 15% tax will applicable for:
1. Recognised provident fund
2. Approved gratuity fund
3. Approved superannuation fund

Is the online platform similar to the eMarketplace? i think No!

Under online platform model, seller has to own the goods/services from manufactures and then earn the spread on which 5% VAT is applicable.

Now, what will be the VAT rate if it is a pure electronic marketplace where both sellers and buyers interact directly and platform owner (earns commission on the transaction value according to predetermined rate) is independent of transacting parties?

A big opportunity of market expansion has emerged in Bangladesh where NBR require to come up with clear guidelines.
