পবিত্র ঈদুল আজহার প্রকৃত সার্থকতা লুকিয়ে আছে ত্যাগ এবং পবিত্রতায়। আমাদের অসচেতনতার কারণে যেন কোরবানির পর চারপাশের পরিবেশ দূষিত না হয়। বর্জ্য যেখানে-সেখানে ফেলে রাখলে রোগজীবাণু ও ডেঙ্গুর প্রকোপ বাড়তে পারে। তাই কোরবানি শেষে দ্রুত বর্জ্য অপসারণ করা আমাদের প্রত্যেকের নাগরিক ও ধর্মীয় দায়িত্ব।

জাবির (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত আছে, তিনি বলেন, আমরা হুদাইবিয়া নামক জায়গাতে রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লামের সাথে একটি উটে সাতজন অংশীদার হয়ে এবং একটি গরুতেও সাতজন অংশীদার হয়ে কুরবানী সম্পন্ন করেছি।
