IPLD at the 2nd Sustainable Water Management Expo 2025
Theme: âLearn Today, Lead Tomorrowâ
IPLD proudly participated in the 2nd Sustainable Water Management Expo 2025, organized by the Bangladesh Water Works Association (BWWA) from 16th to 18th October at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka, Bangladesh. With the inspiring slogan âLearn Today, Lead Tomorrow,â IPLD showcased its ongoing commitment to advancing knowledge, research, and professional capacity development in the field of environmental sustainability, water, and wastewater management.
The event served as an excellent platform for collaboration among academia, industry professionals, technology experts, and policy leaders, all united under one visionâto ensure sustainable water governance for the future. IPLD extends heartfelt appreciation to BWWA management for organizing such an impactful and timely event that promotes integrated approaches and knowledge-sharing opportunities to overcome the critical challenges of water resource management in Bangladesh and beyond.
Throughout the three-day exhibition, the IPLD booth attracted a diverse group of visitors, including environmental professionals, industry representatives, factory compliance teams, researchers, and students. Visitors engaged in meaningful discussions about IPLDâs specialized training programs, research initiatives, and consultancy services focused on water, wastewater, and sustainability management. The active participation and enthusiasm from visitors demonstrated the growing awareness and importance of professional capacity building in environmental sectors.
A key highlight of IPLDâs participation was the opportunity to conduct two technical sessions during the Expo. The first session focused on Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) Design, Operation, Process Control & Management, while the second session covered Operation and Maintenance of Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) Systems. Both sessions were well-received, providing participants with practical knowledge and hands-on insights into innovative wastewater treatment solutions. These sessions reinforced IPLDâs reputation as a leading institution in delivering technical training, research, and applied learning for sustainability professionals.
To further encourage learning and professional development, IPLD also announced a free training session on STP Design Basis, Operation, Process Control & Management, where over 40 participants registered on-site. Many more expressed interests in joining future programs, reflecting the strong demand for quality technical education and industry-relevant training that IPLD provides.
The Expo not only offered IPLD an avenue to connect with like-minded organizations but also opened doors to new collaborations with industries, educational institutions, and government bodies. Discussions are already underway for future joint initiatives, technical workshops, and sustainability-driven partnerships aimed at promoting a greener, circular, and climate-resilient future.
In a nutshell, IPLD received an overwhelming response and successfully strengthened its visibility and credibility in the environmental sustainability sector through this prestigious event. The experience reaffirmed IPLDâs vision to build professional capacity and contribute to a sustainable water management ecosystem. Moving forward, IPLD is committed to participating in similar national and international exhibitions every year to continue expanding its outreach, inspire future professionals, and foster collaboration toward a better, more sustainable tomorrow.
