Inco-Terms
Incoterms বা International Commercial Terms হলো আন্তর্জাতিক বাণিজ্যের শর্তাবলী, যা Buyer এবং Seller-এর মধ্যে Delivery, Risk এবং Cost Division নির্ধারণ করে।
✔️ International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) তৈরি করেছে
✔️ Global Trade-এ Standard Rules হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়
✔️ Exporter ও Importer-এর মধ্যে Confusion কমায়
সহজভাবে বলতে গেলে—
👉 Incoterms হলো Delivery & Risk Responsibility-এর Clear Guideline, যা International Trade-এ Legal ও Commercial Certainty দেয়।
Incoterms গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কারণ—
✅ Buyer ও Seller-এর মধ্যে Risk Division স্পষ্ট করে
✅ Delivery Point ও Cost Responsibility নির্ধারণ করে
✅ Freight, Insurance এবং Customs Clearance-এ Confusion কমায়
✅ Contract Negotiation সহজ করে
✅ International Trade Litigation ও Dispute Risk কমায়
অর্থাৎ, Incoterms ছাড়া Export-Import-এ Risk ও Liability Management কঠিন।
Incoterms মূলত ২ ধরণের—
1️⃣ For Any Mode of Transport:
• EXW (Ex Works) → Buyer সমস্ত Cost & Risk গ্রহণ করবে
• FCA (Free Carrier) → Seller নির্দিষ্ট Point-এ Cargo হস্তান্তর করবে
• CPT (Carriage Paid To) → Seller Freight দেয়
• CIP (Carriage & Insurance Paid To) → Seller Freight & Insurance দেয়
• DAP (Delivered At Place), DPU, DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) → Seller Maximum Responsibility নেয়
2️⃣ For Sea & Inland Waterway Transport:
• FAS (Free Alongside Ship) → Seller পণ্য Ship-এর পাশে Delivery করবে
• FOB (Free On Board) → Seller Ship-এ Load করার পর Risk Transfer হয়
• CFR (Cost & Freight), CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight) → Seller Freight (CIF-এ Insurance) দেয়
এই Incoterms-এর মাধ্যমে Buyer ও Seller তাদের Commercial Obligations সহজে বুঝতে পারে।
