Shobchai Limited is looking for a proactive and experienced Purchase & Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and procurement of fish, vegetables, and other perishable products.

Key Responsibilities:
• Source and purchase fish, vegetables, and other perishable products from reliable suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Research the market to identify new suppliers and sourcing opportunities.
• Collect quotations, compare prices, and negotiate the best deals.
• Ensure product quality, quantity, and competitive pricing before purchase.
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet purchasing requirements.
• Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier performance.
• Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation.
• Arrange alternative suppliers during shortages or urgent requirements.

Requirements:
• Minimum HSC or equivalent qualification.
• 2–4 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or purchasing.
• Experience in sourcing fish, vegetables, or other perishable products is mandatory.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent sourcing requirements.

Candidates with experience in food or meat products, hotels, restaurants, or FMCG sales will be preferred. Experience with Paragon, premium meat products, or an existing client network in Gulshan and Banani will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit hotels, restaurants, and business clients to promote products and generate sales.
• Find new customers and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Understand customer requirements and coordinate with the team to ensure timely supply.
• Follow up on orders, deliveries, payments, and customer feedback.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and prepare basic sales reports.
• Conduct basic market research and monitor competitor activities.
• Perform other sales-related tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

✅ Bachelor's degree in any discipline
✅ 1–2 years of sales experience
✅ Good communication and negotiation skills
✅ Target-oriented and willing to visit clients

Our first-ever team retreat to Cox's Bazar was more than just a getaway. Implemented to strengthen team bonding, create lasting memories, and celebrate the people behind our journey, this retreat reminded us that great teams grow stronger together.
