BASIS Students’ Forum UIU Chapter successfully organized IndustryXplore – Bridging Academia & Industry, featuring an insightful industry visit to one of the country’s most reputed organizations, W3 Engineers Ltd, a fast-paced IT solutions provider known for delivering innovative strategies that drive business growth.

We were truly honored to receive guidance from Md. Rashiduzzaman, Chief Operating Officer (COO), who shared valuable insights into the company’s journey, its growth in Bangladesh, and how they continue to develop impactful technologies for the nation.

We also express our sincere gratitude to Fariha Ahmed, Senior Manager, Human Resources, W3 Engineers Ltd, for providing practical, real-life insights into recruitment processes. Her advice on highlighting freelancing experience, showcasing academic and industry projects, and preparing for future opportunities was incredibly beneficial for our participants.

A special appreciation goes to Partha Nath, Software Engineer at W3 Engineers Ltd and a proud alumnus of the Department of CSE, UIU. He shared his experience working with Large Language Models, AI-driven solutions, and modern software development practices. His ideas for university projects and project showcases were truly motivating for our students.

Warm and heartfelt thanks to Khan Zareen Tashneem, Deputy HR Manager, and Jannatul Ferdous Jui, Jr. HR Executive, for their constant support. Their hospitality, professional guidance, and continuous coordination throughout the visit made the experience even more meaningful.

The industry visit concluded with a formal crest presentation ceremony to honor the facilitators for their valuable time, insightful guidance, and inspiring contributions. The crests were presented by James Anthony Purification Purification, Convener of BASIS Students’ Forum UIU Chapter & Former Vice President of UIU APP FORUM, together with Md. Darain Khan, Former Vice President of UIU APP FORUM, and A M Zayed Abdullah, Former Head of Graphics, UIU APP FORUM & Executive Member of BASIS Students’ Forum UIU Chapter.

Our participants gained valuable industry exposure, learned about real-world software development processes, and shared overwhelmingly positive feedback about the visit.
