🔹 Position: Research Team Coordinator
Work Type: Contractual (6 months)
Location: University of Dhaka
# Requirements:
• Dedicated to Dhaka University Research Society (DURS) as a regular member;
• Student of 3rd year or above of any department;
• At least have a methodology training course from any reputed institution;
• Demonstrated leadership skills;
• Prior experience in data collection or involvement in research projects;
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment;
• Must have a strong desire to learn and engage in research work.
# Responsibilities of a Coordinator:
• Coordinate DURS research team and field activities;
• Organize regular meetings with your research team & assist your team members.
• Assist in planning and implementing surveys or other data collection activities;
• Ensure timely progress and reporting of team & project milestones;
• Maintain effective communication between team members, managers, supervisors, management & the executive committee.

🔹 Position: Research Manager
Work Type: Contractual (6 months)
Location: University of Dhaka
# Requirements:
• Open to all current students of Dhaka University who must be a final year undergraduate student or above (enrolled in Master’s, MPhil etc.);
• Applicants must have first hand research experience;
• Having at least one research publication in a reputed peer-reviewed journal would be a bonus/ Or,
• At least 4 to 5 published pieces in any form—book chapters, magazines (in English or Bengali), or newspapers—along with a consistent habit of writing regularly;
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities;
• Excellent understanding of research methodology and ethical standards;
• Ability to mentor junior researchers and guide/supervise field or data activities.
# Responsibilities of a Manager:
• Lead and guide multiple research projects of DURS teams;
• Provide methodological and editorial support to ensure quality research output;
• Design, coordinate, and supervise surveys or field research;
• Oversee project timelines, deliverables, team coordination & communication with the team coordinators;
• Ensure research findings are prepared for publication and dissemination.
