A butterfly valve is a quick-acting, quarter-turn rotary device used to start, stop, or regulate fluid flow. It features a flat circular disc positioned in the center of the pipe. Turning the handle 90 degrees moves the disc parallel or perpendicular to the flow.

Main PartsBody:
Fits between pipe flanges.
