‎১৯৭১…
‎ধোঁয়া, আগুন, আর অশ্রু ভেদ করে
‎জেগে উঠেছিল স্বাধীনতার উচ্চারণ।
‎
‎আজ তারা নেই-
‎কিন্তু তারা মিশে আছে
‎আমাদের নিঃশ্বাসে,
‎আমাদের সাহসে,
‎আমাদের মাথা তুলে দাঁড়ানোর শক্তিতে।
‎
‎এই বিজয়-গর্ব নয় শুধু,
‎এটি একটি দায়,
‎একটি প্রতিজ্ঞা।
‎
‎আসুন, সততা ও ঐক্যের আলোয়
‎বয়ে নেই শহীদদের স্বপ্ন,

A heavy Earthquake (5.7 R/S) has struck Dhaka today, leaving many of us shaken and concerned.

I sincerely hope everyone is safe and with their loved ones. Moments like this remind us how fragile life is and how important preparedness, community support, and empathy are in times of crisis.

Let us check on our families, neighbours, colleagues, and especially the elderly.
May Almighty Allah protect all of us and keep our city safe from further harm. Ameen.

And the nation loses more than we can ever prove.

Cause every shutdown steals our time,
Every blockade cuts the lifeline.
Every fire on the road, every violent night-
Takes our future out of sight.
When politics shakes… the economy breaks.

When protests rise and the air turns cold,
Investors step back, their decisions on hold.
The taka trembles, the markets sway,
Dreams of tomorrow drift further away.

Production falls… exports slip…
Confidence sinks like a damaged ship.
A country can’t grow on a broken pace —
Instability leaves a permanent trace.

Every shout in the street hits the national heart,
Every clash, every strike tears progress apart.
This isn’t just politics — it’s the cost no one sees…
It’s the silent storm behind our economy.

Oh Bangladesh, how far we’ve come…
And how far we still can go…
But not if every few months
We force the nation to move slow.
Our future needs peace,
Our people need calm…
Growth needs stability,
Like the body needs a heart that’s warm.

Every shutdown steals our chance,
