On November 2, 2024, the event "Meet & Greet with Mr. Talal Alebrahim" was held to facilitate a smooth introduction between Mr. Talal Alebrahim, the newly appointed Senior Country Manager of Kuwait Airways in Bangladesh, and the airline’s local team. Hosted by the GSA TAS Group at Hotel Sarina, the event aimed to set a foundation of collaboration and shared goals for Kuwait Airways’ future in the Bangladeshi market.

The gathering brought together Kuwait Airways employees from various regions, including Dhaka, Chattogram, and Sylhet, as well as staff from airport reservations and cargo operations. The turnout highlighted the airline's widespread presence and the dedication of its staff across different departments and locations in Bangladesh.

The event began with a formal welcoming session, where representatives from both Kuwait Airways and TAS Group extended a warm reception to Mr. Alebrahim. In his speech, Mr. Alebrahim expressed his gratitude and excitement about joining the Bangladesh team. He emphasized his commitment to fostering a cohesive and motivated team environment and outlined his goals for enhancing Kuwait Airways’ services and presence in the Bangladeshi market. Mr. Alebrahim also shared some insights into his strategic vision, focusing on customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and service excellence.

During the event, employees from Kuwait Airways and TAS Group had the chance to share their thoughts as well. Their remarks underscored a strong enthusiasm and willingness to collaborate, aiming to strengthen Kuwait Airways’ reputation as a preferred airline. The team conveyed their collective goal to elevate service quality and build a lasting, positive impact in the Bangladeshi aviation sector.

To mark the conclusion of the event, a memorable photo session was held, capturing the spirit of camaraderie among Mr. Alebrahim, the Kuwait Airways staff, and the TAS Group team. Adding to the excitement, a surprise raffle draw was announced, offering three lucky employees the opportunity to win round-trip tickets to popular international destinations—Maldives, Malaysia, and Dubai. The raffle winners were thrilled with their prizes, and the event wrapped up on a high note, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of enthusiasm and optimism for the future.

Welcome to Bangladesh. Mr. Talal Alebrahim.

TAS Group hosted a welcome dinner yesterday in Pan Pacific Sonargaon in honor of Mr. Talal Alebrahim, the incoming new Senior Country Manager of Kuwait Airways.

The dinner event was further graced by the presence of His Excellency Mr. Ahmad Al Duwailah, the honourable First Secretary of the Embassy of Kuwait in Bangladesh. KM Mozibul Hoque, Chairman of TAS Group, Morshedul Alam Chaklader, Managing Director of TAS Group and other board members and heads of department were also present at the event.

Bangladesh Malaysia Chamber of Commerce Industry (BMCCI) and TAS Group have signed an MoU agreement that will help enhance and improve travel and tourism for member who travel for trade and leisure between Malaysia and Bangladesh.

Under this MoU agreement, BMCCI members will be able to avail special travel fares and discounts in the GSA airlines under TAS Group (AirAsia Berhad, Thai AirAsia, Maldivian Airlines). BMCCI members will also be able to avail special discount on visa services, holiday packages and flight bookings from Tripper, the OTA platform under TAS Group.
