In 2021, during the COVID-19 lockdowns, our CEO, Alvi Abid, founded SAARO (Space & Astrophysics Research Organization) with a simple but ambitious mission: to advance knowledge of astronomy and astrophysics among students in Bangladesh. What began as a one-person initiative grew into a community of curious minds passionate about space, science, and discovery. Over the years, SAARO worked to make astronomy and astrophysics more accessible, inspiring students to look beyond the horizon and toward the stars.

Today, as that original mission nears fulfillment, a larger vision is taking shape.

After extensive planning, SAARO is officially being rebranded as the National Space & Aerospace Research Club (NSARC), pronounced "NS-ARC." This transformation reflects our next goal: building a nationwide network of students, researchers, innovators, and future engineers from Grade 5–12 who share a passion for space, aerospace, science, and technology. Through research programs, collaborative projects, workshops, competitions, and events, NSARC aims to connect like-minded individuals across Bangladesh and create opportunities that many young enthusiasts have never had access to before.

To make this vision possible, NSARC is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Neurovia Headquarters (Neurovia). As an independent organization run primarily by a single founder, SAARO alone could not achieve the scale required for a truly national initiative. Through this partnership, NSARC will gain the support, collaboration, and infrastructure needed to develop ambitious programs and projects for students throughout the country.

Our long-term goals include student-led research initiatives, aerospace and engineering projects, educational workshops, the development of drone-satellites, model and experimental rockets, and many other exciting ventures that will encourage innovation and hands-on learning. These goals will not be achieved overnight. They will require dedication, collaboration, and the support of a generation willing to dream bigger than ever before.

This is not just a rebrand. It is the beginning of a movement.

For every student in Bangladesh who looks up at the night sky and wonders what lies beyond. For every future scientist, engineer, researcher, and explorer. For everyone who reaches to the skies and beyond.

The National Space & Aerospace Research Club (NSARC) officially launches on 7 May. Keep your eyes open, and be ready to be part of a National Movement. You can join the club after our official launch on 7th May.
