A few days ago, One of our successfull project, titled "Weekend Nest," was selected for presentation at a group exhibition organized by the Architecture Alumni Association of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST). The exhibition was held in two phases, first at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) and subsequently at the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB).
The project was exhibited alongside its architectural model, allowing visitors to appreciate its design philosophy, contextual response, and architectural expression. It was a proud moment to see your project featured among a curated selection of distinguished works.

Concept

“Heritage in Motion: Reimagining Dhaka Club Through an Urban Street Skeleton”

Guided by the urban design principles of Kevin Lynch, the redevelopment of Dhaka Club Limited is envisioned as a legible “street skeleton” embedded within the larger urban fabric of Dhaka.
particularly within the indigenous landscape of the Ramna area. The design interprets the club as an extension of the city’s movement network, where primary circulation paths function as an
internal urban spine, connecting key programmatic zones.
Edges are carefully articulated through landscape and built form to mediate between the serene environment of Ramna Park and the club's more active spaces. Functional districts—
Recreation, culture, and hospitality are clearly organised to enhance spatial clarity and adaptability. Strategic nodes, particularly the entrance porch, serve as transitional gathering points.
strengthening both visual and physical connections between the city and the club.
The new building emerges as a defining landmark, reinterpreting the historic colonial façade while integrating contemporary sustainability and performance strategies. This approach enhances urban legibility, preserves the heritage identity, and positions Dhaka Club Limited as a dynamic and contextually responsive entity within the evolving cityscape.
