In the year 1994, the company started its journey by establishing its first venture an incandescent lamp plant located at Narayanganj. Later the company extended its business categories in various dimensions like Electrical Accessories, CFL, LED lighting, Fan, Cables, Solar, Holdings, Tissue and Lifts etc. SSG also set its foothold in the hygiene category by tissue products by keeping “Sharing is Caring’’ motto in the core. Our achievements have been quite remarkable, and this can be attributed to a number of factors, such as our knowledge of the building industry, associated electrical requirements, continuous improvements in quality and full satisfaction of our customers. Recently the group achieved the prestigious Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Industrial Award 2020 introduced for the first time in Bangladesh. The award has been given by the Ministry of Industries to recognize SSG’s outstanding contribution to the industrial development of the country.
