Our Master of Business Administration program equips you to do that. Whether you're a full-time student or a working professional, you can earn this valuable degree on your schedule.

By the time you graduate, you'll have advanced skills in accounting, finance, marketing, and management. Our curriculum includes the application of and instruction in statistical theory, computer applications, data analytics – visualization, mining, warehousing, and forecasting, to business problems. You'll choose a specialty from one of 11 emphasis areas, tailoring your degree to meet your needs and interests. Owing partly to the focus on business quantitative methods in the core curriculum, six of our emphasis areas – business data analytics, cybersecurity, finance, information systems (with SAP), logistics, and project management, have been classified as STEM programs.

Visa Rejection

As part of your student visa application, you will need to testify to and prove a number of things in your F-1 student visa interview, including how you will finance your education, your ties to your home country, your intent to return, your specific degree program, and why you chose your university.

There are a number of reasons for a visa to be denied. Your visa denial letter will state the reason, though it may not be overly specific, depending on the category. While Homeland Security does not release specific numbers, it is estimated that the USA visa rejection rate in 2018 was around 35%, though the percentage varies significantly by country.

Now let’s get into the most common F-1 visa rejection reasons:

Lack of Finances

If you cannot show the consular officer that you have the financial means to pay for your education in the US, you will not receive a student visa to study in the USA.

“Students are required to provide the financial documents to prove they have enough finance support for their study and living [expenses],” says visa specialist. “The financial documents need to cover at least one year of expenses — including tuition, insurance, dining, living, books, and miscellaneous.”

Lack of proof of sufficient finances is one of the top F-1 visa rejection reasons. You must also be able to show you have access to funds for your entire program. In the US, bachelor programs tend to take four years and master’s programs tend to take two years.

“When students and their parents are preparing the financial statements, they also need to prepare the amount of total expense for the entire program, not only for one year, and show they have the means,” says Visa Specialist “If they have any siblings, they need to be very clear about how much money their siblings need as well.”

No Intent to Return Home
One of the biggest visa denial reasons is the failure to demonstrate your ties to your home country and your “intent to return home.” The consul officer conducting your visa interview will ask you about any family in the US, social circles and property in your home country, and your career plans after graduation.

“Some students can’t provide a clear answer when the visa officer asks their plans after graduation,” says Specialist. “This may cause the visa officer to doubt your intent to stay in the US. You need to explain clearly what kind of job you plan to do after graduation.”

Cheif Visa Consultant says to have this answer fully prepared, especially if you are from a high-risk country or have relatives in the US. In your answer, you may wish to say the type of positions you plan to apply to or even name specific companies you want to work for. If you have plans to be engaged or married, or buy a home upon graduation, you should mention that as well.

False, Incorrect, or Missing Documents
Documentation that doesn’t match your original DS-160 application form or the university’s I-20 will be an immediate red flag for visa officers.

The U.S. Embassy in Bangladesh is pleased to announce a call for applications for the 2023-2024 Community College Initiative (CCI) Program. This U.S. Department of State exchange program provides scholarships for Bangladeshi undergraduate students (18 to 25 years old) to spend one academic year studying at a U.S. community college.
Program Pillars:
• Academics: Students will complete one year of academic coursework at a U.S. community college in their selected field of study and may earn professional certificates.
• Service Learning: Students will participate in local community service activities.
• Internships: Students will gain hands-on professional experience by working at renown organizations, businesses, and companies based in the United States.
• Cultural Exchange: Students will learn about American culture and share their culture through activities such as exhibitions and performances.
• Leadership: Students will enhance their leadership capabilities through CCI leadership programming activities focused on reflection and goal setting.
• Action Planning: During their time in the United States, students will develop an action project, portfolio, or community outreach plan to create positive change in their home communities upon returning to Bangladesh.
The 2023-2024 program provides academic instruction at community colleges throughout the United States in the fields of agriculture, applied engineering, business management/administration, early childhood education, information technology, media, social services, health, public safety, tourism, and hospitality management. Although participants may earn an academic certificate in their field of study and gain first-hand practical experience through internships in their field of study, this is not a degree program. Student will earn full credits for two semesters.
Minimum participation requirements:
• Is a citizen of and qualified to hold a valid passport issued by Bangladesh.
• Is currently residing in Bangladesh.
• Is 18 years or older by July 1, 2023.
• Has successfully earned a higher secondary school certificate.
• Has not completed the equivalent of three years toward a U.S. bachelor’s degree or higher in the applicant’s field of study. Nominees without substantive post-secondary education will be given placement priority.
• Has demonstrated commitment to the selected field of study through some academic or professional experience. The program aims to identify participants with proven skills or interest and limited professional experience in the fields of study offered.
• Has basic working knowledge of English language as demonstrated by a minimum TOEFL score of 420 (IELTS score 5.0). Note: To enroll in credit-bearing courses in an academic field of study, the applicant must meet the minimum language requirements of the host college—usually 500 (IELTS score 6.0) on the TOEFL test or equivalent scores on other standardized tests. English language training will be necessary and is available for those who do not demonstrate this level of proficiency. Participants with a score below 500 must have an interest in taking English language classes as a primary academic focus; they will have very limited access to courses in their field of study. Participant language skills will be evaluated upon arrival at the host institution. A host campus testing result will be the score used to determine course placements.
• Has limited or no overseas study experience. Nominees with no prior overseas study or travel to the United States will be given placement priority.
• Submits a complete original application.
• Is willing and mentally and physically able (with accommodations as required) to complete the program in its entirety, including activities or travel that may be programmed on any day of the week, possibly including early morning or evening hours.
• Is committed to returning to their home country after completion of the program and satisfying the J-visa two-year residency requirement.
• Is able to begin the academic exchange program in the United States in July 2023.

এই শিক্ষামেলায় অংশ নেন চার হাজারেরও বেশি শিক্ষার্থী। এর আগে চট্টগ্রামে শিক্ষার্থী মেলায় অংশ নেন তিন হাজার জনেরও বেশি।
