The objective of the Best Brand Award is to exhibit and celebrate success of the brands, achieved through tough and effortful initiatives. Best Brand Award started its journey with Nielsen Bangladesh in 2008 based on a global model (Winning BrandsTM) done through direct consumer survey of 4000 consumers across the country.

Lifebuoy has also focused on behaviour change through handwashing education, reaching millions of school children since the 1990s with the Lifebuoy School of 5 programme. Its long-running “Lifebuoy Liquid EveryDay” campaign encourages daily hand hygiene to reduce child mortality.
