Celebrating the 2012 in style - GPIT: People and Organization

On 8th January 2011, Level-4 took on a festive look. Balloons, lasers and balloon arches adorned the entire floor. Members of GPIT were a bit puzzled given that nothing was announced. After everyone came into office, a message was sent to everyone wishing everyone a happy new year. It was GPIT P&O’s New Year’s Celebrations! In order t...o engage as much people as possible the event was pushed back to a later date.

All throughout the day, there was a carnival atmosphere at GPIT. People were curiously investigating the laser lights and the balloon arches placed at each wing. Every desk had balloons attached on top of it giving the office a fun environment.
The celebrations were not just about decorations and laser lights. GPIT P&O arranged cakes for both the wings to top of the celebrations with the encryption, “Let us Win@GPIT in 2012, With Love, GPIT P&O.”

On the West wing, our CFO, Kjersti Thoen kicked off the celebrations by doing the honors with the cake. Over to the East wing, this time the CFO was accompanied by our CTO, Noman Wasi in making the first incision.

In conclusion, the celebration was just the tonic that was required to get going in the New Year. It was a pleasure to see members of GPIT join together, acting as one team, in welcoming 2012. So, to quote GPIT P&O, “Let us Win@GPIT in 2012!”
