Shipwrights Resources Limited (SRL) is a pioneering Consulting and Marine Structure Design Engineering House, incorporated in 2006 (as Shipwrights Bangladesh Ltd.) with an aim to provide specialized consulting services to the maritime sector of Bangladesh. Greenfield Shipyard development, shipbuilding support and Inland river Container Terminal (ICT) design engineering being the core areas of ser
vices to the burgeoning private sector enterprises of Bangladesh. We have brought in highly qualified and experienced marine professionals under our fold and would also like to take the challenge of designing off-shore structures. We are also involved in providing market studies, developing business plans or business case model and techno-economic feasibility studies for private sector businesses and government agencies related to the maritime industry in Bangladesh. Inland Container Terminals
1. Rupayan Group - Rupayan Port and Logistics Services Ltd. A private container terminal in Dhamgarh, Narayanganj which is due for operation in December 2013 (estimated) with an initial capacity to handle 180,000 TEU’s per year, gradually expanding up to 350,000 TEU’s by 2016-17. (40% infra-structure complete). Our Work: Detailed design engineering, layout planning, site assessment and complete business plan including feasibility study.
2. Ananda Group - Ananda Container Terminal
Probably the largest river container terminal on the bank of river Meghna at Meghna Ghat, Narayangonj with a start-up capacity to handle 250,000 TEU’s per year in 2017-18 with a master plan to raise the capacity to 600,000 TEU’s by year end 2021. Our Work: Detailed design engineering, layout planning, site assessment and complete business plan including feasibility study. Naval Architecture Consultancy
1. Procurement of Class Approved brand new sea-river container vessel design with a capacity to carry 137 TEU's. This is a custom design made specifically to
comply with the dimensions of the Department of Shipping. It will be used in newbuilding of container vessels that will transport containers from Chittagong, Mongla and the Inland Container Terminals. Partners and Associates:
