FURNE OIL FROM SCRAP TYRE

The scrap tyre and waste rubber can now be turned into valuable industrial fuel through processing known as Pyrolysis technology.
We generally sell out used tyres which are collected for re-treading and given them a new look and re use. But before re-treading, initial inspection is done to verify whether casing is acceptable for re-treading or not. If the injuries in casing are not repairable, the tyres are rejected and thrown away. These rejected tyres can be processed for getting industrial fuel.
Pyrolysis involves heating organic materials without oxygen to break them down to simpler organic compounds. When waste tires are feed in pyrolysis gas preheater, carbon char, oil, and gas are obtained.
In the process Tires are weighed and then halved, chopped, or shredded. Magnetic separation is often used to remove ferrous metals from tires. The feedstock is then dried and preheated, using tire-derived gas. Oxygen is purged through a combination of the pyrolysis gas preheater and an inert gas system employing nitrogen. The liquid stage, tire-derived oil, is condensed and cooled. Light and heavy oil fractions may be handled separately. A separator removes any remaining water vapour. The product is filtered. A magnetic separation stage captures magnetic materials remaining in the char. washing the char and further size reducing it produces the carbon black product.

OXYGEN PLANT

Oxygen is used in hospitals, chemical processes, general engineering, fabrication, steel manufacturing, and steel cutting / welding industries. Oxygen is used in mainly three sectors. First and most important is healthcare, all hospitals need Oxygen for their patient. The second biggest sector of oxygen is the ship-breaking industry, which has a potential usage for oxygen. The third sector is in processes industry, which includes steel melting. With the growing steel, ship breaking and related industries as well as the growing need of hospitals, the demand for oxygen is increasing in our country.

For cost-effective, safe and reliable oxygen generating systems for high quality industrial and medical use, latest design and technology of Liquefaction of AIR has been introduced. In this process, the basic principle of deep refrigeration/cooling is used to liquefy the atmospheric air making it suitable to produce liquid oxygen/nitrogen and filling high purity Oxygen/Nitrogen with high pressure to cylinders/bottles.

The technology is safe to operate for production of medical and industrial oxygen because the pure oxygen can be filled directly into cylinders without coming into contact with the air or moisture.

The process consist of Air separation unit/ cold box consists of a rectification column with special type of sieve trays in the top and bottom column and two heat exchangers (Cool type) for cooling the incoming air with the outgoing cold oxygen and nitrogen. The liquid oxygen is collected in the main condenser between the top and the bottom column which goes to the liquid oxygen pump for internal compression and filling of bone dry oxygen in the cylinders filling manifold into cylinders up to 165 kg/cm² pressure.

The total project cost for setting up
i) 200 m3/hr of Gas Oxygen - Purity 99.7% at 150 (kg/Cm2) ii) 200 m3/hr of Gas Nitrogen - Purity 99.99% at .3 (kg/Cm2) plant is estimated to be Tk 10.00 crore. The Plant is capable of being operated continuously for 24 Month Period before it is to be shut down for a planned defrosting of 12 hours. The total requirement of power is 250 KW.

Potential Hospital Project

Health care is one of the basic rights of the people. There is a remarkable progress in health sector in Bangladesh for the last decade. Both birth and death rates have come down, average life expectancy has gone up and infant and maternal mortality rates have dropped substantially. However, standard of health services is, still much below the level of many other developing countries.

We should take the health services to the doorsteps of the people and at the same time quality to be maintained. The potential investor should come forward to set up Private Hospital in rural areas to improve the quality of health and family welfare services.

Population of the country has been increasing with the greater percentage. It has become very difficult for the Government to provide health facilities to large number of population. This arise a strong need of private hospitals with modern technology and better infrastructure.
The proposed hospital would be a general hospital catering both, indoor and outdoor patients. The indoor facilities mainly include Emergency, ICU / CCU, Rooms, General Ward, and Labor Ward with a fully functional operation theatre capable of conducting major types of surgeries. The outdoor facilities would comprise of a diagnostic clinic consisting of a complete medical laboratory and a radiology department.

According to the stated medical facilities, proposed hospital mainly comprised of the following sections:
 Emergency Department  Out Door Patient Department  ICU/CCU  Diagnostic Centre
 Radiology Department  Surgical Consultancy  Medical Consultancy
 Gynecology and Obstetrics

The proposed hospital will have an overall capacity of providing medical facilities to 27,300 patients in Year 1. The patient’s occupancy in starting year is estimated at 60%with an annual increase of 10%. Approximately 15 katha of land would be required for establishment of the proposed size of hospital; it is recommended that required land should be procured in the vicinity of populated residential areas. The infrastructural requirements of the project mainly comprises of the construction of Emergency, ICU / CCU, Diagnostic Centre, Radiology Department, Surgical Consultancy, Medical Consultancy, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Canteen, Pharmacy, waiting areas, parking space and open space, etc. The construction cost would be around Tk 10.00 crore and the machinery and equipment worth Tk 4.00 crore. Other hospital furniture and facilities will be Tk 1.00 crore.

SWEATER FACTORY

Supti Sweater Limited at Hobirbari, Seed Store Bazar, Bhaluka, Mymensingh was an ongoing sweater factory operated by manual Flat knitting machinery supported by other auxiliary machineries. But the product manufactured from the factory could not compete in the International market, due to inferior quality of product. As a result the factory remained closed for a long time. So, the owner of the factory decided to modernize his factory by inclusion of new Director and replacing manual machinery with sophisticated computerized jacquard knitting machinery including other auxiliary machinery.

The Balancing, Modernization, Replacement and Expansion (BMRE) program for this industry was conducted by me. The existing buildings had linking, trimming & mending section of 18765 sft shed, Jacquard shed of 11400 sft area, finishing sections of 7283 sft area.

Under the BMRE program some construction was done for accommodation of newly imported machinery satisfying the compliance. 56 sets of SHIMA SEIKI Double system computerized Flat Knitting machine were imported from Japan and 96 sets of Hi Tech Super Speed Flying Tiger Flat Knitting Machine were imported from China. Other auxiliary machines like 12 spindle Soft Wending Machine, Rewinding machine, Auto Placket machine, Linking machine, Metal Detector machine & Computerized Digital Printing machine were also imported.

The project is now capable of producing 13300 dozens of different gauge sweaters per month.

Shrimp project on Mala Fisheries

A shrimp project has been set up on 146.364 Bighas of Land at Mouja: Kamarol, Orjuna Bolurdana, Union & P.S. Terokhada, Dist: Khulna in the name and style of Mala Fisheries and Processing Plant Ltd with the target to export Black Tiger Prawn and also to sale the prawn locally. The production capacity of the farm is minimum 2500 kg per cycle for 3 bighas pond.

So, the minimum production of this project is 2500kg x 2cycle x 36ponds= 180000 kgs Black Tiger per year. The project land has been utilized in a very scientific way; 36 nos. ponds have been excavated for culture of Shrimp.

Each pond has an area of 3 bighas land and has a depth of 5ft . Besides, 5 nos. ponds with eight feet depth have been excavated as Reserve Ponds. The remaining land has been utilized by constructing internal road, double storied concrete/brick building for sales cm marketing office, storage room, Worker residence & parking. The entrepreneur has allocated some area for setting up one Ice factory in future which will be required for storage of shrimps. Dikes have been constructed with 10 ft. brick soling to move from one pond to another and this will also protect the ponds from overflow of water during flood.

The project has been designed by me and the project has started operation from April, 2016.
