Empowering NGOs through quality reporting.

The opening session of the Training on "Quality Report Writing Focusing on SDGs and LNOB" was successfully held at Parjatan Motel, Rajshahi with Dr. Mohammed Jakaria, Director General (Secretary), NGO Affairs Bureau, Prime Minister's Office, as the Chief Guest.

The training is designed to strengthen participants' capacity in preparing high-quality reports that effectively reflect project achievements while integrating the principles of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Leave No One Behind (LNOB).

Over 700,000 people in coastal Bangladesh are now better equipped to face climate challenges. 🌿💧

Over the past seven years, the Gender-responsive Coastal Adaptation (GCA) Project has expanded access to safe drinking water, strengthened climate-resilient livelihoods, and empowered women and communities across Khulna and Satkhira.

On 23rd June 2026, at the Learning Sharing and Closing Workshop, organized by IPTM at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka, stakeholders reaffirmed the importance of sustaining and scaling these successful, locally led and gender-responsive adaptation models across Bangladesh’s climate-vulnerable coastal regions.

Together, we can build a more resilient and inclusive future. 🌍

Tree Plantation Initiative at Kokomo Sunset Resort 🌱

As part of the ongoing training programme for officials of the NGO Affairs Bureau (NGOAB) under the ISPAT Project of UNDP, a tree plantation activity was conducted at Kokomo Sunset Resort.

The programme, organized by IPTM, was led by Dr. Mohammed Jakaria Director General(Secretary)NGO Affairs Bureau (NGOAB), who participated in the tree plantation initiative, demonstrating the Bureau’s commitment to environmental sustainability, climate resilience, and responsible development practices.

The activity symbolized a shared commitment to building a greener and more sustainable future while strengthening institutional capacity through the ISPAT Project.

🌱 Resilient Futures in Action | Dhaka, 06 April 2026

The “Resilient Futures: Validation Workshop on Gender-responsive Livelihood Tools and Climate Pathways” was successfully held in Dhaka, bringing together government, development partners, and local stakeholders.

Organized by IPTM, the workshop reviewed key tools including a TOT curriculum, climate-adaptive livelihood toolkit, and impact projections up to 2050—aimed at strengthening climate-resilient and gender-responsive livelihoods in coastal Bangladesh.

With support from DWA, DPHE, MoWCA, UNDP, and GCF, the initiative focuses on empowering vulnerable communities, especially women, to better adapt to climate change.
