I’m working on a mid-size, commercial interior project, where I have to allocate an already defined space for his and hers wash closets.

What flavor of micro feminism should I strive for:
Should I allocate a little more space to the women’s?
Or
Should I add extra square footage to men’s, and add a changing table in theirs?

Do you think most subcontinental men even know what a changing table is? Do we even keep changing tables in most commercial spaces?

(I don’t even know how to address wash closet accessibility or labeling discussion for “others”.)

There’s no elevator in the building, so the facility is not universally accessible, unfortunately.

Do we care about children or any vulnerable or (willfully) marginalized population at all?

Did you think interior design was apolitical?

Another de-“হীরামন”-fied pair.

The carpenter, the polisher, the upholsterer- all declared: separately and unprompted, that these are of great quality (mainly meaning a lot of wood has been used). So, yes; heavy, solid shegun pieces.

Oatmeal upholstery on the seat.
Indigo upholstery on the back. A trim back detail makes these great piece to float in a space.
