our new suit fabrics: Vitale Barberis Canonico, uper 160’s Australian wool :
Greenhills is a fabric without compromise or sensationalism, with which Vitale Barberis Canonico wanted to get to the essence of Merino wool. It is created using Super 160’s Australian wool where even finer yarns can be produced, but in the end, it is the fabric itself which is worn, not just a number. Just as the wine grower takes care of the vines to enable the grapes to absorb the desired characteristics, thus every procedure during sheep breeding respects the nature of the animals and their location, while the following processes have the more difficult task of preserving and enhancing the wool’s characteristics. This is the reason the hand is velvety and alive, reassuringly warm and natural, almost like stroking a cat. The virtuosity of the weave adds to the effect with touches of light to create movement, without resorting to evident patterns. Greenhills, without a doubt, is dedicated to those who understand about subtle differences.
