Micro and small & medium sized enterprises (MSME) are at the centre of our continual development and improvement of an inclusive business sector. Our focus is on excluded segments of society

particularly Base of the Pyramid (Bop), where we improve livelihoods by managing and advising on responsible business. To connect entrepreneurs to different players in the ecosystem, we have created a matchmaking platform for entrepreneurs, professional advisors, financial institutions, impact investors, NGOs and anyone who is interested in the growing Inclusive Business. We improve access to appropriate financial services for entrepreneurs at the bottom of the pyramid. By providing capital and advisory services along with team of experts with strong portfolio management skills, we are able to stay close to our investees.

An innovative initiative by Oxfam in Bangladesh the City works– a social enterprise for domestic workers (DWs) in Bangladeshi slums, The project focuses on women informal workers in slums of Dhaka city who work as domestic workers.
In Bangladesh, domestic work as a profession is perceived to be an undignified job yet it remains one of the most important sources of livelihood for urban poor women. The domestic work sector is characterised by a high incidence of informal arrangements resulting in worker exploitation, poor working conditions, debt bo***ge and irregular work. This situation is the result of a combination of socio-legal-economic factors: the private household as its workplace. Under this project Mother's Care - a social enterprise develop DW’s technical skill, connect to government various social protection schemes and offer formal job placements, make them aware about their rights and create opportunity for A2F, A2I, and many more.
Today i have a chance to attend in a training event and observing their life skilled session, Most of the participants (DWs) say “this sort of activities has great impact to develop their day to day life, to increase income and promote empowerment in family and society”
