🇦🇺 AUSTRALIA MIGRATION UPDATE
📅 17 September 2026

Planning to study or build your career in Australia? New migration reforms have been announced, with changes planned for student dependants, visa switching and visitor visas.

Here are the key points reported so far:

👨‍👩‍👧 Student dependants: Restrictions are planned for most international students bringing family members.

🔄 Visa hopping: Tougher controls are planned for repeated visa switching to extend a stay.

✈️ Visitor visas: Wider use of “No Further Stay” conditions is planned.

👷 Skilled migration: The focus remains on workers needed in critical sectors.

⚠️ Announcement does not mean immediate implementation. Final rules, exemptions and commencement dates require official confirmation.

Choose your course carefully, prepare genuine documents and stay informed through reliable sources.
