Being a private sector enterprise we, Libra Enterprise plays a pivotal role in developing gas infrastructure viz., gas transmission & distribution pipeline for the past 38 years since independence of Bangladesh as sovereign country. We are one of the oldest High Pressure (1.3 & 1.4 Category) gas pipeline construction company in Bangladesh and operating successfully since its establishment in 1972.
So far we have constructed high & low pressure gas pipeline, diameter ranging from ¾” through 30” with operating pressure from 50-2000 psig in different projects of Titas Gas T&D Co. (JGTDSL), Gas Transmission Co Ltd. (GTCL), Bangladesh Gas Field Co Ltd (BGFCL) and Paschimanchal Gas Co Ltd (PGCL). We have successfully completed mechanical er****on and piping works of gas processing plants including construction of gas gathering pipeline of operating pressure of 2000 to 3200 psig from wellhead to process plant area for er****on of plant in Rashidpur Gas Field, Habiganj Gas Field, Titas Gas Field and Bakhrabad Gas Field as Local associate / subcontractor of N.V. Begemann B.V., Holland, Escher Holland B.V. and Seamore Oil and Gas Processing (Netherlands) B.V. Besides, Libra Enterprise also executed a good number of gas regulating & metering stations having capacity ranging from 7.5 MMSCFD to 200 MMSCFD for Gas Transmission Company Limited, Power Development Board, Independent Power Producer (Summit Power Ltd., United Power Generation Ltd., Unique Power, and Doreen Power Generation System Ltd.). Libra has experience in ex*****on of EPC contract for gas pipeline and gas regulating & metering station independently as well as with foreign companies. During the course of ex*****on of projects, we were required to undertake procurement of materials, equipments, consumables of various kinds, sourcing prospective vendors. Some of our executed projects were on EPC basis wherein we were solely responsible for procurement of all kinds of pipeline materials, meeting the technical specifications at competitive price. Hence, we are well acquainted with international trading business and have introduced significant number of products in the gas sector of the country.
