Southeast University Debating Club was established in 2005 to give students a creative outlet for researching and debating important topics. Its main mission is to create a knowledge based society where student can exercise their freedom of expression with their own creativity. Since its formation it has organized a number of events which help the students to learn different methods in the world of debating.. Over the years it has produced some great debaters who have glorified the name of the university by adding many jewels in the crown of their mother institution. The debaters have participated in many prestigious debate competitions like All Asians debate competition, TIB Debate competition, ATN Bangla Debate competition, NSU Walton competition, UIU Mojo Debate Championship 2011, Stamford University Mix-up, ULAB Debate Championship, Sher- E-Bangla University National Debate Championship, IUT Debate Competition, LCLS Debate Competition and many more. As debate needs extensive learning, research and intensive analysis of significant issues, SEUDC organize workshop at regular intervals to make it easy for the debaters where distinguish and experienced debaters take the classes. As a club we might not have the ample of resources, but we still have a passion for debating which has brought us here so far and will take us even further. MD.IFTEKHAR AHMED
