Tyser Risk Management Bangladesh Limited are deeply saddened by the tragic incident when a Bangladesh Air Force Training fighter Jet crashed into Milestone School and College in Dhaka, which claimed multiple innocent lives and left many more grievously injured. Our thoughts are with the families, students, and educators affected by this devastating loss. The incident not only claimed many budding lives, it may permanently traumatize the children & parents who had to go through this horrifying experience.

This heartbreaking incident highlights the urgent need for:

- Rigorous aircraft maintenance and safety checks

- Designating unpopulated or isolated zones for aerial training exercises

- Urban planning that accounts for proximity to flight paths

As cities expand and air operations intensify, it becomes ever more urgent for defense, aviation, and urban development sectors to collaborate with one shared priority: protecting lives.

We stand in solidarity with all those grieving today and call for thoughtful, systemic action to prevent such tragedies in the future.

It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of Mr. Tanim Hossain (Plant Manager, Summit Gazipur II Power Limited), a wonderful contemporary of TRMBL who was much more than a friend. Words cannot express the grief we feel, as he was not just a peer but a true companion in both professional and personal life.

Tanim bhai brought warmth, laughter, and wisdom to every gathering, and his kindness will never be forgotten. We are grateful for the moments we shared, the lessons learned, and the friendship we built over the years. Tanim bhai treated TRMBL like brothers, always ensuring the highest level of cooperation, hospitality and generosity.

To his family, our thoughts are with you during this incredibly difficult time. May you find comfort in the cherished memories and the impact he had on all of us.

Tyser Risk Management Bangladesh Limited is proud to announce that we have successfully organized a seminar titled “Insuring Power: Essential Strategies in Risk Management & Asset Safety for Power Plants” in collaboration with Zurich Insurance, Chubb, International General Insurance (IGI) and Tysers, UK.

This seminar brought together the leading personnel from of around 30 power plants from 17 different companies including the government as well as private owned companies in Bangladesh. In this event, the resource persons talked about the Necessity of Risk Management in terms of insurance and plant safety along with the Importance of purchasing the proper insurance. The resounding participation of all the officials made this event truly a successful one.

It was a great opportunity for all of the companies to interact with each other as well as the resource persons to share their experiences and spread the knowledge among themselves. As the leading Risk Management team of the country, we are proud to have organized this seminar and hope that this is first of many!

On 10th September, 2024; TRMBL conducted a seminar with the collaboration of Smart Choice- ReInsurance Broker and Mongolian insurance association titled Property Insurance: Underwriting and Risk Management at the Financial Inclusion Hall of Financial Regulatory Committee at Ulaanbaatar, the Capital city of Mongolia. Our Respected Managing Director Mr. S M Moinul Islam spoke on the topic of Property Insurance Underwriting and Various Clauses while our Manager, Technical Mr. Riasat Farabi spoke about Risk Management. The astounding presence of participants and gleeful feedback means that the event was a great success.
This has been an amazing opportunity for TRMBL to share their knowledge and experience with the Mongolian Insurance Market. We are hopeful that we will be conducting further sessions at Mongolia and continue to strengthen the partnership of Bangladesh and Mongolia.

Tyser Risk Management Bangladesh Limited is headed to Mongolia for the Fourth time since 2021. However, this journey is special as we have our respected Managing Director on-board with us.
Our agenda is to conduct a Seminar titled "Property Insurance: Underwriting and Risk Management" in participation with personnel from the Mongolian Insurance Market which is being arranged by Smart Choice- ReInsurance Broker in collaboration with Mongolian Insurance Association.
Following the seminar, some Risk Engineering Surveys will be conducted as well.

TRMBL is grateful for this opportunity. We will represent Bangladesh to the Mongolian Insurance Market and continue to keep building a strong relationship with them. Hoping to make this trip a successful one. ✊🏻
