The Bangladesh government is set to launch a Tk 420 crore project to rehabilitate street children and children at risk through housing, education, vocational training, healthcare and family reunification. Scheduled to run until June 2031, the initiative aims to reintegrate 6,600 children with their families, provide shelter for 1,900, enroll 4,500 in education, and offer financial support, skills training and employment opportunities. The project will be implemented across 31 districts, 34 upazilas and 12 city corporations, with an estimated 500,000 children expected to benefit directly or indirectly.
It's a timetable initiative for the street connectee children for their wellbeing and upbringing. GOs and NGOa collaboration is needed to make the success of the project.

On 24 June, 2026 I had the opportunity to participate in the 9th Urban Dialogue 2026 on “Policies to Action: Transforming Cities for People,” organized by the Urban INGO Forum, Bangladesh.
The dialogue emphasized the urgent need for collective action to build more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable cities for all. The central message, “City for All,” highlighted the importance of ensuring that urban development benefits every citizen, especially the most vulnerable communities.
As our cities continue to grow, responsible planning, sustainable programs, and green initiatives are essential to creating livable, climate-resilient urban environments for present and future generations.
I am grateful for the opportunity to engage with policymakers, development practitioners, and urban experts in this important discussion and contribute to the shared vision of building cities that work for everyone.

On 21 May 2026, I had the privilege to take part in a day-long training programme on “Masterclass Advanced Humanitarian Negotiations” held at Ramada by Wyndham Cox's Bazar Kolatoli Beach and organized by The Clingendael Institute (Netherlands Institute of International Relations)
The training was highly insightful, engaging, and impactful for professionals working in the field of humanitarian crisis and response. It provided advanced knowledge, practical strategies, and valuable learning experiences on humanitarian negotiations in complex situations.
We learned a great deal from the sessions, which will undoubtedly strengthen our professional capacity and contribute positively to the growth and effectiveness of our organization as well.
