Product details:
1200-degree decal (also called high-temperature ceramic decal or porcelain decal) is a special type of heat-transfer decoration used on ceramic, porcelain, glass, and enamel surfaces. It is designed to withstand firing temperatures of around 1200°C in a kiln, making the design permanently fused into the surface.
Key Features of 1200-Degree Decals:
1. High-Temperature Resistance:
• Can endure temperatures between 1150°C and 1250°C without losing color or quality.
• Used for porcelain, stoneware, and high-fired ceramics.
2. Permanent Decoration:
• After firing, the decal becomes part of the glaze, making it scratch-proof, dishwasher-safe, and highly durable.
3. Material Composition:
• Made of ceramic pigments that can survive extreme heat.
• No plastic or organic binders remain after firing.
4. Application Process:
• Printed on special water-slide transfer paper.
• Transferred onto the ceramic surface and then fired in a kiln at around 1200°C.
5. Color Limitations:
• High-temperature decals have a limited color range because some pigments burn out at high temperatures.
• Gold and silver metallic colors are usually not suitable at this temperature.
Uses of 1200-Degree Decals:
• Tableware and Dinnerware: Fine porcelain plates, cups, and bowls.
• Sanitary Ware: Toilets, sinks, and ceramic tiles.
• Industrial Applications: Ceramic labels, logos, and markings on durable items.
• Art and Decoration: Custom high-fire ceramic artworks.
