Plastic waste is an increasingly serious issue in Bangladesh. According to a report by The Daily Star, approximately 𝟐𝟗𝟑,𝟖𝟐𝟓 tonnes of plastic waste are recycled annually, while 𝟐𝟎𝟕,𝟔𝟖𝟓 tonnes leak into the environment, and 𝟑𝟏𝟗,𝟕𝟒𝟎 tonnes are dumped in landfills.

The situation becomes more complex because plastic can take up to 1,000 years to properly decompose, resulting in environmental pollution and threats to wildlife.

𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐜 is committed to addressing this crisis by transforming plastic waste into eco-friendly building materials. We strive to turn waste into value and work towards a cleaner Bangladesh.
